This “Daily Paper” prop newspaper was created for and used in the 1990 motion picture “Dick Tracy” featuring an all star cast including Warren Beatty, Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, James Caan, Madonna, and many more. This prop document was acquired directly from one of the property masters that worked on the film and had it personally signed by Mr. Al Pacino, who portrayed the arch villain “Big Boy Caprice”. The headline on the paper reads “Tracy Wipes Out Gambling Ring. Pressure Builds on Caprice” and Mr. Pacino’s inscription to the prop master reads “Dear Rudy. Thanks a lot! Al Pacino”.
The paper was screen used in the production and this version was seen onscreen during a “Hot Off The Presses” montage sequence when Tracy goes toe to toe with Caprice’s crime gang.
The prop document is in good screen used condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
