This pair of vertically striped worker overalls were worn by the character H.I. McDonnough portrayed by actor Nicolas Cage in the Coen Brothers hilarious 1987 cult classic “Raising Arizona” starring Holly Hunter and John Goodman. Mr. Cage wore the garment in multiple scenes before the opening credits when H.I. gets a job as a machinist for Hudsucker Industries after being released from jail and marrying Edwina (Hunter), a female police officer who falls in love with him after numerous arrest bookings. The overalls are in hand distressed screen worn condition as seen in the film and are complete with the original “Hudsucker Industries” patch on the breast (which was referenced repeatedly in the Coen Brothers later film “The Hudsucker Proxy” starring Tim Robbins). Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house. Presented by The Golden Closet, your premiere source for screen used wardrobe, props, and music entertainment memorabilia.
