This military uniform shirt was worn by the character “Cpl. Bohun” portrayed by Dick York in the 1957 film “Operation Mad Ball” costarring Jack Lemon. The khaki long sleeve wool military shirt has two flap pockets, patches on both shoulders, and internal “Columbia Pictures” studio label with “Dick York” handwritten, and “Dick Y 15 ˝ - 4” written on the collar.
Mr. York wears this shirt throughout the feature, which follows “Pvt. Hogan” (Jack Lemmon) and company as they try to secretly organize a wild party on their military base.
This garment is in excellent condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
